What we keep, and why.
Alpha hasn't opened yet. Until it does, this page covers everything we collect: the waitlist and this website. The full notice for the account will be published before launch.
Who we are
Alpha Corp, a company registered in the Cayman Islands, is responsible for the data described here. Contact: hello@alpha.com.ky.
What we collect when you join the waitlist
Your first name and surname, email address, mobile number, country, whether you want a personal or business account and, if business, the business name, and anything you tick under "what would you use Alpha for". If you arrived through a friend's invite link, we record their invite code. We also keep the time you joined and the type of browser you used, to help us spot abuse.
What we use it for
To hold your place in the queue, to email you once when Alpha opens in your country, to run the referral programme, to send occasional updates about the build (you can stop these at any time), and to plan which countries and features to open first. We do not use it for anything else.
Who sees it
Alpha's team. Your details are stored in our Google Workspace account and the bot check on the form is run by Cloudflare; both act under our instructions. We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for their own purposes, and we never will.
How long we keep it
Until Alpha opens in your country and you either open an account or tell us you no longer want one, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. Email hello@alpha.com.ky from the address you signed up with and we remove you within seven days.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, and withdraw from the waitlist at any time. Write to hello@alpha.com.ky. If you are in the UK or the EU, the UK GDPR and GDPR give you these rights by law; we extend the same rights to everyone, everywhere.
This website
It sets no tracking cookies and runs no advertising or analytics scripts. The waitlist form uses a bot check that may set a short-lived cookie of its own for that purpose only. Nothing you do on this site is used to build a profile of you.
Changes
When Alpha opens, a full privacy notice for the account will replace this page. If we change how the waitlist data is used before then, we will email everyone on the list first.
